Thomas O. Isom
I grew up in the West End of Richmond, Virginia, but the suburban bubble did not diminish my wanderlust. I am always adventuring; I love spontaneous road trips, interesting people, and embracing different cultures. I graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I am now an Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Mozambique from September 2014 till December 2016. Let me know in the comment section if you have any questions, remarks, or just want a shout out on the blog. Thanks for reading and sharing this experience in Mozambique with me. Saúde!

Good luck with your Portuguese, Tommy. We’ll be thinking of you in Biology class. JimN

Best of luck in Mozambique! I was trying to get into that program after discharging from Sierra Leone, but it was a little too late for me… I’ll enjoy vicariously through you
